I mounted this on a 1998 Kubota B7100 HST and built a custom subframe for the backhoe. The B7100 is a compact tractor (16 HP) so I wanted the smallest backhoe I could find. The product was packaged very well in a steel frame crate and was bolted down to tube steel rails. Everything was included and it assembled easily. I used a motorcycle jack to manipulate the back hoe as I made my subframe and attached it to the tractor.
I came to Value Leader to buy the backhoe after Liberty backhoes wasted 9 weeks of my time pretending to have a backhoe they never had. Wish I started here and could have saved 9 weeks. I received the item in 8 days.
I have never used a back hoe before and bought it to put a garage foundation in. I dug about 95 foot of 2 to 2.5 foot deep trench in about 10 hours for my electric service to the garage. My soil is rocky and I pulled some rocks out with this that were 2 feet wide and weighed 150 to 200 pounds. I was surprised to say the least. You will see that the boom extended pressure isn't as good as the bucket curl and the side to side boom movement is similarly downgraded in strength. The curling force is adequate and that's what pulled the rocks out.
In general, I couldn't have asked for more for the money.

Start with the great customer service from Keith and team. Add in a great little machine that works as it should at a price point that good, and you get a satisfied customer.
The machine came crated securely in a metal cage, with all parts wrapped and re-wrapped and very secure. Assembly and installation are easy, and straightforward. Note that this machine, like most, is shipped dry- so make sure you fill the hydraulic tank, and grease everything before you use it. I noted no leaks or broken or missing parts.
This went on my BX2230, with only a shortening of the PTO shaft (again, typical). No need to rev the engine like when using the tractor hydraulics; just a bit over idle is plenty. I've popped 8 stumps (up to 15"), and dug 70 feet of trench with it.

I got the BHM5 to use around my home. I have about 3 acres of wooded property with some stumps and drainage problems that need to be fixed. I installed this on my Kubota BX2660.
I had to shorten the drive shaft by about 6", and I had to modify the top link that was supplied because it was too wide to fit the tractor.
There were a couple of leaks in the hydraulic connedtions that had to be tightened, and a couple of alumite fittings had to be replaced.
After that the equipment worked as advertised. It is easy to control, and very powerful. The BX2660 handles the weight very well. The backhoe is easy to attach and detach which adds to the convenience since the primary purpose of the tractor is to mow the lawn. I do not recommend mowing the lawn with the backhoe attached, although it would be possible.
I would recommend this over purchasing a tractor with a backhoe attachment because it gives more versatility, and really the backhoe could be used with any tractor that has the proper 3 point hitch and pto.
